What Happened to Jeremy Jourdain?

Teenagers often enjoy going to parties and often look for any excuse to have one. It isn’t unusual for the police to end up getting involved in a party involving youth, but it is even more concerning when a young person goes missing.
Jeremy Jourdain
Jeremy Jourdain was a 17-year-old high school student who lived with his grandfather, Joseph, in Cass Lake, Minnesota. He had grown up with his grandfather since he was a baby and his Aunt Alexandra Tanner helped raise him.
Jeremy was a promising basketball player who hoped to eventually play at the college level. He was much loved by his teammates at his local high school. However, he was more of a homebody who didn’t go out much but did make time for the occasional party.
Halloween 2016
On October 31, 2016, Jeremy made plans to go to a Halloween party with a few friends in a neighboring town. Just before 9:00 p.m., he started to get ready to go, and a few minutes later, a friend of his stopped by the house to pick him up.
Jeremy and his friend drove the twenty minutes to nearby Bemidji to attend the party held at the Washington Avenue Apartment complex located at 6th Street and Wood Avenue SE. Jeremy’s older sister, Jasmine, lived in Bemidji and was looking forward to meeting her brother at the party.
At close to midnight, Jeremy and a few of his friends stepped outside to smoke cigarettes when without warning, Jeremy took off running. He didn’t give his friends an explanation and left without a word. His friends thought his behavior was rather odd.
Jasmine and his friends went after him and attempted to locate Jeremy but could not find him anywhere. They thought it was possible that Jeremy didn’t want to be at the party anymore and tried to make his way back home.
The Next Day
The following morning Jeremy’s Aunt Alexandra was driving to work when she received a call from a family member that Jeremy had never made it home the night before. Alexandra became worried and went straight to Jeremy’s…
