Hans married Eloise who was a B-movie actress. She was never famous and only played minor roles in films and television series. However, she was known to be a reliable supporting actress.
Hans and Eloise had only one child together, Marina, before divorcing and going their separate ways. Marina stayed in Hollywood with her mother while Hans moved to Switzerland and continued his writing career.
