The Mystery Surrounding the Death of Two Best Friends
The unsolved murders of Kerry Graham and Francine Trimble.
Kerry Graham, age 15, and Francine Trimble, age 14, grew up together in the small town of Forestville, California in Sonoma County. They met in elementary school and became the best of friends. Francine was one year behind Kerry in school and the girls had a hard time separating from each other when Kerry moved up to the high school. It wasn’t unusual for the girls to ditch school to spend time together.
On December 15, 1978, the girls were supposed to go to school, however, it was the last day before Christmas break and the girls had other plans. Kerry and Francine met up at the Forestville schoolyard to socialize, but never attended a single class. They told Kerry’s sister, Kelly, they had been invited to a party and they had also planned on going to the Coddington Mall to do some Christmas shopping.
It’s believed after Kelly saw the girls they made their way back to their homes before they left to continue their day. Kerry had just had her appendix removed recently and her prescribed antibiotic had moved from one room to another since the family left for the morning.
